Uploading a SCORM eLearning Course to a Product

Learndot Enterprise allows for SCORM eLearning Course Packages to be added into Products. This allows a customer to purchase a product and start using the eLearning package instantly.

Adding a SCORM eLearning Packages to a Product

  1. Log in Administration Dashboard and navigate to Catalog > Products.
  2. Select the Product you wish to add the SCORM eLearning Package too by clicking on the name of the Product.
  3. Click on 'Upload SCORM package' under SCORM within the right sidebar. 
  4. You should be presented with an Upload Form. Click the 'Choose File' button, and select the SCORM Learning Package .zip from your local computer that you wish to use. Once you've picked the file, press 'Upload'.
  5. The Package should now be attached to the product.

Cloning a Product and uploading a new SCORM eLearning Course

In order to keep existing SCORM eLearning Packages on a product you need to create a Clone of the existing product and upload your package to the new Product. This process allows for version control of Learning Packages and not overwriting existing packages.
  1. Log in Administration Dashboard, navigate to Catalog > Products.
  2. Select the Product you wish to add the SCORM eLearning Package to.
  3. Click on 'Clone' under UPDATE within the right sidebar. You should be presented with a create product view.
  4. Enter a new 'Product name' and 'URL Path' (URL Path must be unique) for the new product. All of the existing data will still be filled in.
  5. Click on 'Save'. Your new product should now appear in the product list.
  6. Select your newly created Product in the list.
  7. Click on 'Upload SCORM package' under SCORM within the right sidebar. You should be presented with an Upload Form.
  8. Click the 'Choose File' button, and select the SCORM Learning Package .zip from your local computer that you wish to use. Once you've picked the file, press 'Upload'.
  9. The Package should now be attached to the product. You should now have Two Products each with its own SCORM eLearning Package.
